Job summary

Priory Althea Park House is recruiting a Support Worker to join our team in a permanent full-time role. Based at Althea Park House, Stroud, Gloucestershire, you will support patients’ recovery under supervision, contribute to personalised care plans and assist with daily living activities in a safe, therapeutic environment.

You will work within a compassionate team, using established therapies and a person-centred approach to help patients progress.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent or higher recognised qualification.
• GCSE English and Maths at minimum level.
• GCSE English & Maths as essential basics.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified staff with assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
• Undertake routine tasks and activities to facilitate wellbeing and daily living.
• Update person-centred support plans, charts and daily notes.
• Maintain professional relationships with patients, their families, colleagues and other stakeholders.
