The Witherslack Group is seeking a Children's Residential Support Worker in Loughborough to help create a safe, nurturing home for young people. The role focuses on building trust, encouraging independence and supporting daily routines with a consistent team.

You'll join a caring team, work in a home environment, and contribute to long-term wellbeing and progress while completing required training and pursuing further qualifications if needed.

Formación

• Experience with children and young people is valuable, but the candidate should be able to listen, stay calm, build trust and work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and grow, with a commitment to ongoing development and applying best practices in residential care.
• Ability to encourage and support young people to develop independence and resilience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a safe, nurturing home environment where young people can build confidence and look toward their future.
• Act as a key worker and consistent presence, setting boundaries and helping young people work towards goals.
• Be flexible with rota patterns, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins to provide consistent support.
• Complete required training, including the Care Academy onboarding, and pursue recognised qualifications if needed.
