About Early Years Ltd. in Morpeth, Northumberland, is seeking a Residential Childcare & Young People's Support Worker. The role offers £17.00 - £20.00 per hour with flexible shifts, including days, long days, nights, sleep-ins and weekends.

You will support young people with SEND, Autism, ADHD and SEMH to build confidence, independence and wellbeing. The successful candidate will provide person-centred care in residential and community settings, maintaining safety and positive relationships with

Qualifications

Commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week.
Experience with SEND and SEMH support.
Experience working with children or young people.
Residential childcare experience is beneficial.
Health and Social Care background is an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Provide high‑quality care and support within residential and community settings.
Support daily routines, education and social activities.
Encourage independence, life skills and personal development.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
Maintain accurate records and reports.
Work collaboratively with families, schools and healthcare professionals.
