Job summary

Endless Adventure North East Ltd is looking for a passionate SEMH Support Worker to join our team in North East England. You'll support vulnerable children in outdoor environments, helping them build confidence and develop life skills.

The role encompasses creating nurturing experiences and assisting in the delivery of tailored programmes for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Full-time permanent position with a salary of £27,000 to £32,000 depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in education or support settings.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
• Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, professional relationships with children.
• Support outdoor learning and adventure activities.
• Assist in planning and evaluation of support programmes.
