Job summary

SCR social care is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our children’s residential home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance and outcomes for young people.

You will oversee service delivery, safeguarding, staff development and regulatory compliance with the Children’s Homes National Minimum Standards and The Children’s Act 2010. A supportive organisation with ongoing training and clear career pathways awaits.

Qualifications

• Management experience within young people’s residential services.
• RMA / NVQ 4 in Leadership & Management / ILM Level 5 (or willingness to commence within 3 months)
• Excellent working knowledge of Children’s Homes National Minimum Standards & The Children’s Act 2010.
• Ability to cope with emotionally challenging situations and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the children’s residential home to deliver high-quality care.
• Ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance in line with standards.
• Support staff development and promote a positive, professional culture.
