Job summary

SCR social care is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our children’s residential home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and outcomes for looked-after young people. You will drive outcomes through strong leadership and policy adherence within SCR’s supportive framework.

The role requires management experience in children’s residential services, RMA/NVQ 4 or ILM Level 5, and a commitment to ongoing professional development within SCR’s progressive organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience managing children’s residential services.
• RMA / NVQ 4 in Leadership & Management / ILM Level 5 or willingness to commence within 3 months.
• Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes National Minimum Standards & The Children’s Act 2010.
• Ability to cope with emotionally challenging situations and remain calm under pressure.

• Lead and manage SCR’s children’s residential home to ensure high care standards.
• Ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance across the service.
