Job summary

SPACE is seeking a Youth Support Worker to join our team in street-based youth work sessions across South Devon and at Newton Abbot. This part-time, permanent role offers 7 hours per week with two evenings required, likely Fridays and occasional weekends. Training and support are provided to help you unlock young people’s potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in youth work or related voluntary/community roles.
• Commitment to safeguarding and working with young people.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a youth-service setting.

Responsibilities

• Support youth work across diverse settings.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Assist in designing and delivering the youth work curriculum and programmes.
• Plan, evaluate and document youth work outcomes.
• Advocate for the rights and wellbeing of young people.
