Worcestershire County Council is seeking an Outreach Personal Advisor in Bromsgrove to support looked-after young people aged 16–18. The role involves de‑escalation, advocacy, and coordinating with multi‑agency teams to secure stable accommodation and tailored support plans.

You will travel across the county, attend professional meetings, and maintain detailed records, with on‑call and weekend duties as needed. Salary £32,578–£34,811 per year.

Formación

• Must hold a full driving licence and have access to a car.
• Willingness to travel across the County to meet service needs.
• Ability to work under pressure and in challenging circumstances.
• Accurate record keeping and timely reporting of key work sessions and plans.

Responsabilidades

• De-escalate situations and provide emotional support to looked-after children aged 16–18.
• Collaborate with multi‑agency teams around the young person.
• Ensure accommodation is maintained to a high standard, with regular cleaning and maintenance.
• Perform routine checks of accommodation and keep up-to-date risk assessments and support plans.
• Prepare regular reports for management and other professionals.
• Advocate for the rights and interests of the young person within the organisation and community.
• Attend meetings with professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
• Address health and safety concerns confidently and effectively.
