The Core Team within Wakefield CAMHS is looking for an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our busy service. You will hold and manage your own caseload, conduct risk assessments and care planning, and deliver evidence-based interventions with young people and their families.

You will provide 1:1 and group work, respond to urgent assessments, work in a trauma‑informed way, and collaborate with schools, social care and other agencies.

Qualifications

• Significant and demonstrable experience of working with young people and their families.

Responsabilités

• Hold and manage a caseload independently.
• Provide thorough risk assessments and care planning.
• Provide therapeutic intervention through both 1:1 work and group work with young people in the locality.
• Provide urgent assessments when required.
• Work in a trauma-informed way.
• Work with other agencies; schools, social care etc.
