Job summary

Wakefield CAMHS is seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join the Enhanced Outreach Team. You will work in a busy multidisciplinary setting, managing a caseload of youths with complex mental health needs and liaising with Social Care and other agencies.

The role requires autonomous clinical practice within supervision, with secondment options for internal candidates. Flu vaccination is encouraged and sponsorship is not available due to contract type.

Qualifications

• Substantial post-qualification experience with children and families in mental health or similar settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and treatment to children and young people with mental health needs.
• Work autonomously and with the MDT, offering consultation to other agencies.
• Promote safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
• Manage caseload within supervision framework and adhere to policies.
