Job summary

Compass Bloom (MHST) is expanding its service in Central & West Lancashire. We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) to deliver 1:1 and group interventions for children and young people, working closely with schools, families and multi‑agency partners to promote emotional wellbeing.

You will use CBT or solution‑focused approaches, safeguarding and risk management, and be committed to early intervention in educational settings with a compassionate, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, motivated and skilled professional with child-focused mindset.
• Experience delivering therapeutic interventions with children and families.
• Understanding of safeguarding, education settings and consent (Gillick).
• Ability to work with schools, families and multi-agency partners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 therapeutic interventions with children, families and groups.
• Assess mental health, evaluate risk and take appropriate action.
• Collaborate with schools and families to provide early support in educational settings.
