Job summary

South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is expanding its Children’s and Young People’s Mental Health services in Sunderland. We seek to recruit several CYPMH practitioners to deliver low‑intensity, evidence‑based interventions for children, young people and families.

Training, supervision and multi‑disciplinary collaboration are core to the role. Ideal candidates will have established CYPMH qualifications, registration and experience in safeguarding, with a strong commitment to early

Qualifications

• Qualified Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner or equivalent registration.
• Registration with BABCP/BPS or nursing/teaching/other registrant status.
• Postgraduate CYPMH qualification or related field.
• Recognised supervision certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct evidence-based interventions to children, young people and families.
• Deliver high-quality training, consultation and support to staff.
• Collaborate with multi-professional teams to ensure safe, evidence-based practice.
