Job summary

Action for Children in Dundee invites applications for a Team Leader in Housing Support. You will oversee staff delivering support to young people, coordinating referrals, assessments, and reviews to ensure safe, effective, person-centred care.

The role requires leadership across two sites, with on-call duties and 24/7 readiness. You will collaborate with Social Work and housing teams to maintain high standards, safeguarding practices, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must possess SVQ3 or equivalent and be or work towards SSSC registration.
• Previous experience supervising staff in a social care setting.
• Significant experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities.
• Confident in all aspects of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership to practitioners and support workers.
• Coordinate staffing for a 24/7 service and on-call rota.
• Ensure high-quality, person-centred services and safeguarding.
• Work with partners to deliver tailored support packages.
• Promote best practice and continuous improvement.
