Job summary

Action for Children in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland, is seeking a Housing Support Practitioner to support young people aged 16–21 who are homeless or at risk, helping them access services and realise their potential.

The role is permanent, 37 hours per week, with a salary of £27,700 per annum. Benefits include generous leave, pension, health and development opportunities, and a commitment to equity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience of working with vulnerable young people aged 16–21 in a formal setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with vulnerable young people.
• Working with young people in small groups and/or on an individual basis.
• Collaborating with other staff teams and external organisations to achieve the best outcomes.
• Monitoring, recording, and reviewing progress; providing additional support as needed.
• Mentoring and supporting other team members.
