Achieving for Children in Maidenhead is establishing a new HOST housing team to support care leavers moving into in-house supported accommodation. The role requires flexibility for a rota with two early shifts (8:00 AM) and two late shifts (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and involves administration, reporting, and liaison with contractors.

You will help with safety, repairs, rents/benefits, and resident inductions while supporting young people in preparing for independent living.

Competenze

• Good level education up to GCSE level and a professional housing qualification would be desirable.
• Excellent time management and basic ICT knowledge on Google tools.
• Ability to work shifts and be flexible.

Mansioni

• Ensure safety and security of the building and support residents in the absence of the transition facilitator.
• Report and track repairs, order household items, and oversee voids including cleaning and decorating.
• Induct new residents, manage rents and benefits support, and oversee guest management.
• Assist with day-to-day maintenance, cleaning tasks, and liaise with contractors.
• Support young people with behavioural and safeguarding needs and maintain financial records.
