Kirklees Council is seeking a Housing Solutions Officer to support young people aged 16-25 facing housing difficulties. You will assess needs, prevent homelessness where possible, and develop personalised plans to help them secure suitable accommodation.

You will collaborate with families, landlords and partner agencies to overcome barriers and promote independence, joining a dedicated Housing Solutions team.

Formación

• Experience working with vulnerable young people is preferred.
• Ability to engage and support individuals aged 16-25.

Responsabilidades

• Assess housing needs and risks for young people aged 16-25.
• Prevent homelessness where possible and develop personalised housing plans.
• Work with families, landlords and partner agencies to enable independence.
• Participate in multi-agency meetings and contribute to coordinated support plans.
