Job summary

Pathways is Curo's supported housing service in central Bath. We are hiring a Young Parents & Young Persons Support Worker to one-to-one with a small caseload, helping with budgeting, tenancy, wellbeing and next steps. Sessions can happen anywhere—offices, walks, or over coffee.

You’ll be backed by an experienced Team Leader and a supportive team. The role is full-time, permanent, 37 hours per week, with a salary of £25,878 per annum plus benefits.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with people who are homeless or vulnerable, including managing a caseload and developing support plans and risk assessments.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and of social housing and tenure law.
  • Able to engage people who may find it difficult to access support and to work with partner agencies.
  • Clear communication, accurate record-keeping and good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries, and work well under pressure as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming new customers, building trust and developing person-centred support plans and risk assessments.
  • Helping each person build the skills to keep their home, from budgeting to tenancy management.
  • Spotting safeguarding concerns early and acting on them per procedures.
  • Working with colleagues across Curo and partner agencies for joined-up support.
  • Keeping accurate records and acting on customer feedback to improve Pathways.
