Job summary

Home Group Limited is seeking a caring and proactive role to support young people aged 16–25 in housing-related challenges. You will build connections, empower goals, and assist with daily tasks and risk planning.

The role includes budgeting support, tenancy maintenance, and guiding individuals toward independent living, while working with a supportive team and a regulated environment under Ofsted oversight.

Qualifications

• Experience of caring for others, professionally or personally.
• Ability to work on your own initiative, staying calm and positive under pressure.
• Recognise every customer is different and adopt a flexible, personal approach, listening to understand their needs.
• A Level 2 diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or willing to study towards it).

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers with daily tasks, building real connections with young people.
• Encouraging and empowering young people to achieve their goals (housing, employment, confidence).
• Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and reviews.
• Helping with budgeting and tenancy maintenance.
• Supporting young people aged 16–25 facing homelessness or challenges to live independently.
