Job summary

South Ayrshire Council is seeking a proactive team member to support young people with care experience through the Champions Board. You will help plan and deliver creative engagement opportunities and ensure young voices are heard in shaping positive change.

Under the Corporate Parenting Officer, you will work with looked-after children and care leavers, attend meetings, and assist with communications and engagement techniques. PVG scheme clearance will be required.

Qualifications

• PVG scheme membership or update required prior to offer.
• Experience working with children and young people preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Champions Board meetings and related activities.
• Assist in planning and delivering creative consultation and engagement opportunities for looked-after children.
