Job summary

Groundwork Cheshire, Lancashire & Merseyside is seeking an Employment Job Broker to work across Blackpool, linking young people to employers with workforce needs and securing good-quality jobs, placements and apprenticeships.

You will build relationships with local employers, identify recruitment opportunities and support participants to overcome barriers and move into sustainable work.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with local employers to generate vacancies and address their skills needs.
• Source and secure employment, work placements and apprenticeship opportunities.
• Match participants to suitable opportunities.
• Work with Jobcentre Plus, training providers and community partners.
• Support participants with vocational profiling, action planning and coaching.
• Prepare participants for interviews and provide in-work support.
• Promote inclusive recruitment and workforce development with employers.
