Job summary

Groundwork Cheshire, Lancashire & Merseyside is seeking an Employment Job Broker to work across Blackpool. You will be the link between young people seeking employment and employers with workforce needs, focusing on creating, sourcing and securing good-quality jobs, work placements and apprenticeships for programme participants.

Job description

Salary: £26,228 - £30,933

Location: Blackpool

Working pattern: Full time, 36.25 hours per week. Fixed term contract until March 2028

About the role Groundwork Cheshire, Lancashire & Merseyside is looking for an Employment Job Broker to work across Blackpool. You will be the link between young people seeking employment and employers with workforce needs. The role centres on creating, sourcing and securing good-quality jobs, work placements and apprenticeships for programme participants.

You will build strong relationships with local employers, identify recruitment opportunities and match participants to suitable vacancies. You will also support participants directly, helping them overcome barriers and move into sustainable work.
