Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking an Employment Advisor / Recruiter to support young adults facing barriers to employment. The role is based in Birmingham centre and field-based, visiting surrounding community venues.

You will engage participants, foster relationships with employers and education providers, and offer guidance on benefits. The FTC runs up to Spring 2028 with a possibility of extension, and the package includes holiday entitlement and pension.

Qualifications

• Experience in employability or support roles.
• Proven ability to engage employers and source opportunities.
• Coaching and mentoring skills required.
• IT literacy essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage and support unemployed participants toward sustainable employment.
• Build relationships with employers and education providers to source opportunities.
• Provide tailored support to overcome barriers and sustain employment.
• Arrange work experience and training opportunities.
• Assess needs and signpost to relevant services.
• Undertake community outreach to promote the service.
