Job summary

Action for Children is seeking an Employment Facilitator in Glasgow to deliver high-quality employability support for young people aged 16–24. You will run tailored sessions, build confidence, and help learners move into work, training, or education.

The role involves designing action plans, tracking progress, and collaborating with local partners, employers and colleagues to create routes into the labour market. 37 hours per week, on-site in Glasgow with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting young people with multiple barriers.
• Ability to design and deliver group sessions and one-to-one work.
• Understanding of employability pathways and job-seeking skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and safeguarding standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored employability sessions across areas such as customer service and construction.
• Support and coordinate a caseload of young people toward employment or training.
• Develop outcome-focused action plans and review progress with individuals.
• Ensure compliance and accurate record-keeping with stakeholders and partners.
