Job summary

Service Care Solutions Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to join the Drug & Alcohol Service in Derbyshire. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure safe, person-centred interventions within contractual targets.

The role is 30 hours per week over four days (09:00-17:00). Hourly rates up to £27 umbrella (PAYE options available £23.81 inclusive; £21.25 excluding holiday pay). Immediate start for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Previous line management experience in drug/alcohol services.
• Proven experience in drug and alcohol/substance misuse sector.
• Experience using SystmOne (SystemOne).
• An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo one if required).
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and support to a multidisciplinary team.
• Manage staff performance, including appraisals and performance reviews.
• Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred interventions in line with organisational policies and best practice.
• Monitor service performance, quality standards, and contractual targets.
• Support safeguarding processes and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate and timely records using SystemOne (SystmOne).
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for service users.

Hours: 4 days, 09:00-17:00, 30 Hours per week

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in substance misuse and team management to lead a passionate team delivering high‑quality support to individuals affected by drug and alcohol dependency.
