Job summary

East Sussex College Group seeks a proactive Team Leader to deliver a personal development programme for 16-25 year-olds, helping them build confidence and employability. You will lead groups, mentor learners, and work with partners to create work-based opportunities at the Hastings campus.

You will recruit and support students, ensure safe delivery, maintain records, and collaborate with employers and sponsors to maximise impact across East Sussex.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people in an education, training, youth work, mentoring or coaching environment.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• A Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards this qualification.

Responsibilities

• Leading and delivering an engaging personal development programme that supports young people to build confidence, develop employability skills
• Recruiting, mentoring and supporting students throughout their journey, helping them overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
• Building effective partnerships with employers, community organisations and other stakeholders to create meaningful learning and work-based opportunities.
• Ensuring high-quality programme delivery, accurate record keeping, and a safe and supportive learning environment for all
