Job summary

Randstad Care Swansea is seeking a Crisis Support Worker to assist young people in high-needs residential settings. You will provide crisis intervention, listening, and structured care in Swansea city centre, Hafod, with day, waking night, and weekend shifts.

The role requires empathy, professional integrity, and the ability to maintain dignity while handling challenging behaviours; prior UK youth support experience preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months paid experience in UK youth support or residential social care.
• High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills.
• Full valid UK driving licence and access to reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Promote Autonomy: Guide young people through daily living routines, independence building, and personal goals.
• Ensure Safety: Handle challenging behaviours firmly and respectfully, maintaining personal dignity at all times.
• Clear Record Keeping: Complete detailed incident logs and daily reports in line with regulatory guidelines.
