Job summary

Flashfactoryny in Swansea is seeking a dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker to join our local authority partner's Children’s Services teams. This locum role offers full time or part time hours, with start date ASAP and umbrella pay.

You will provide high-quality care to children in residential homes, support them in emergencies, promote wellbeing, and work with internal and external professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of experience working with children in a residential home.
• QCF Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent.
• Social Care Wales registration for Children’s Residential Setting.
• Valid Restraint and De-escalation Training.
• Safeguarding Children Groups A & B (National Safeguarding Standards).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to children in residential settings.
• Support children and young people through emergency situations.
• Promote emotional well-being, stability, and independence.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external professionals.

Education
