Job summary

YMCA East Surrey is seeking a Duty Officer & Building Support with Children and Young People – Disability Service in Reigate. The role covers opening/closing the centre, building support, and admin tasks including equipment orders and food safety checks.

Reception duties, welcoming visitors and answering enquiries are required. Candidates should have basic safeguarding knowledge and a First Aid qualification or be willing to undertake training.

Qualifications

• Basic safeguarding knowledge for children and adults.
• First Aid qualification or willingness to complete training.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the Sovereign Centre and ensure area safety in line with YMCA procedures.
• Provide reception duties, answer enquiries and process payments for activities.
• Carry out food safety and hygiene checks and maintain records.
• Log maintenance needs and oversee on-site works.
• Promote YMCA services and support all centre activities.
