Zusammenfassung

The Careers Worcestershire service, part of Worcestershire County Council, is recruiting a Careers and Employment Advisor in the Skills and Employability team. The fixed-term post runs to 31 March 2028, with a view to extending, and involves helping 16 to 24 year olds into education, employment or training through one-to-one and group mentoring.

The role balances hub and outreach work with regular travel across Worcestershire, and offers hybrid working where possible.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to engage and relate well to young people aged 16 to 24.
• Passion for working directly with young people.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Worcestershire.
• Experience of mentoring or youth work is ideal (nice to have).

• Support young people aged 16 to 24 into education, employment or training.
• Deliver one-to-one and group mentoring sessions to young people.
• Empower young people to pursue their career and employment aspirations.
• Engage with young people, including those who are vulnerable or in crisis.
