Job summary

Catch22 Employability division is expanding to meet new contracts in Westminster and surrounding London boroughs. We seek an experienced Career Coach/Mentor to work with Care Experienced Young People (CEYP) aged 16–30, guiding them toward sustainable employment or education and providing high-quality information, advice and guidance.

The role is community-based, requiring outreach across Westminster with some travel to central London locations and occasional remote working.

Qualifications

Strong coaching and mentoring abilities to support CEYP aged 16-30.
Experience delivering Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG).
Ability to engage with diverse communities and partners.

Responsibilities

To deliver a range of supportive interventions to help Care experienced young people (CEYP) 16– 30 years achieve sustainable employment.
To effectively engage participants and attach them to existing and new employability programmes/interventions.
To deliver high quality end to end Information, Advice and Guidance to participants on our employability programmes.
To ‘coach’ the participants on a one to one and group basis based on the Catch22 Employability Methodology.
To prepare CVs, cover letter and job/apprenticeship application forms with participants.
To successfully place participants from a range of target groups into career focused employment or education opportunities.
To deliver high quality In Work Support which effectively sustains participants for a minimum of six months.
