Job summary

VanRath is seeking a Temporary Youth Assembly Coordinator in Belfast. The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, hybrid with occasional out-of-hours work.

You will support the Youth Assembly, work with young people aged 12-16, deliver events, training and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a degree and experience in participatory youth work, manage staff, and help develop policies to support youth participation and decision-making.

Qualifications

• At least a primary degree, minimum 2.2 classification, in any subject.
• At least three years' experience in design and provision of participative youth-led projects, developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships, providing strong oral and written communication, and leading staff.

Responsibilities

• Communication through reports, social media, and publications
• Assisting in the development and implementation of Youth Assembly policies and procedures
