Job summary

YMCA Trinity Group in Peterborough seeks an Assistant Accommodation Project Worker to support young people toward independent living. You will work with a small group, helping develop life skills, confidence and a sense of home in a supportive team.

The role requires safeguarding awareness, confidentiality and a proactive, can-do attitude with residents. 20 hours/week; shifts include early/late and some weekends.

• Strong engagement with residents and ability to build trust.

Responsibilities

• Support residents to develop life skills and independence.
• Create a safe, welcoming environment and assist with personalised support plans.
• Encourage, guide and care for residents in daily activities and routines.
• Maintain professional boundaries and safeguard practices in daily work.
