Job summary

Aspire is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist individuals in their own homes across Scotland. You will provide personal and clinical care, support with daily routines, and help young people with autism and challenging behaviours.

Experience is welcome, but a full induction and ongoing training are provided. You’ll be joining a values-led, employee-owned organisation that supports growth, with flexible shifts and opportunities to make a real difference every day.

Job description

  • Supporting young persons 1:1 in their home

  • Supporting young people with autism and challenging behaviour
  • Assist with medication, housing needs, appointments, and daily routines
  • Encourage social participation and independence

Whether it’s helping someone feel confident in their own home or supporting them at a community event, you’ll play a vital role in helping people feel safe, empowered, and connected.

This role can involve lone working, with on‑call support available 24 hours a day.

Experience is preferred but we provide a full induction and ongoing training. What matters most is your ability to connect with people, your empathy, and your commitment to helping others.

You’ll Need:
  • Right to work in the UK (WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP)
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Access to your own car would be advantageous
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns (day, evening, or weekend)
