Aspire Housing and Personal Development Services in Scotland is seeking a Support Worker to help young people in their homes. You’ll provide personal and clinical care, support those with complex needs, including autism, and assist with daily routines.

You’ll work with empathy, build trust, and encourage independence. The role may involve lone working with on-call support and requires a UK right to work and a driving licence; car access is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience welcomed; full induction provided.
• Ability to connect with people, show empathy and commit to helping others.
• Emotionally intelligent and calm under pressure is essential.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support young persons 1:1 in their home
• Provide personal and clinical care
• Handle complex needs including verbal and non verbal
• Support young people with autism and challenging behaviour
• Assist with medication, housing needs, appointments, and daily routines
