We are looking for a passionate and motivated Practitioner to work within the Young Persons Service, Via: Subwize Team, based in Barking and Dagenham.
This exciting and rewarding role will provide you with significant scope for growth and innovation within the young persons element of an overarching Integrated Substance Misuse Service.
Subwize Young Persons Service is a vibrant, creative, and passionate substance misuse service comprising schools, community work, Hidden Harm initiatives, and a criminal justice team. Our teams work collaboratively to support young people within the borough.
We operate as an outreach service, engaging with young people in the community through one-to-one key working sessions in schools, colleges, cafes, libraries, and children’s centers, as well as at our base, The Vibe.
The core hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with flexibility available. Occasional out-of-hours work, such as weekend youth parades and summer projects, may be required on a rota basis.
Location: The Vibe, 195-211 Becontree Ave, Dagenham RM8 2UT (Young Persons Team office base). The role involves some remote work, including outreach and satellite activities.
