Birmingham City Council is inviting applications for a Year Out Landscape Architecture Student to join the Parks and Greenspaces Development Team. This role offers hands-on experience under senior Landscape Architects on diverse projects improving city parks and green spaces.

You will gain practical design skills, develop technical drawing and presentation abilities, and contribute to green infrastructure initiatives while working both in office and on-site as needed.

Qualificações

• You will hold a degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent.
• Passionate about creating attractive, sustainable landscapes.
• Organised and able to manage competing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Landscape Architects in the preparation and delivery of landscape projects.
• Produce base plans, sketch layouts, design details and planting schedules.
• Prepare specifications and health and safety documentation in line with CDM Regulations.
• Create presentation drawings and visual materials for committees, exhibitions and public meetings.
• Support site surveys and help record and analyse survey information.
• Provide technical and administrative support to the Parks and Greenspaces Development Team.
• Contribute to the design and development of projects that enhance Birmingham's public spaces and natural environment.
