Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. offers a Year in Industry placement at the Triton Knoll Offshore Windfarm site. The start date is July 2027, for 12 months, full time on site. This role supports Operations Engineering with hands-on learning in a large offshore wind project.

You'll gain experience in technical project management, asset governance, HSE and contract management, while developing maintenance strategies and safety improvements on a live offshore asset.

Qualifications

• You're an enrolled student in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Renewables or similar.
• Degree must be eligible for a year in industry placement.
• You have very good verbal and written communication skills.
• You can coordinate your workload and meet tight deadlines.
• You are comfortable working in a diverse team with stakeholders daily.
• Your cover letter should explain why you are suitable and how it aligns with your studies.
• You have lived in the UK for a minimum of 5 years due to vetting requirements.

Job requirements and experience

• You're an enrolled student in one of the following degree courses: Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Renewables or similar.
• Your degree course is eligible for a year in industry placement.
• You have very good verbal and written communication skills.
• You're able to coordinate your own workload and to meet tight deadlines.
• Working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders every day is something you feel comfortable with.
• Motivation is crucial; your cover letter will tell us why you´re a suitable candidate for this opportunity, and how it aligns with your studies & career plans.
• You have lived in the UK for a minimum of 5 years due to the potential requirement for National Security Vetting.
