Job summary

Aether Recruitment is helping a leading Chartered Accountants firm in Central London hire an ACA or ACCA qualified manager with extensive UK practice experience. The role focuses on managing a year-end accounts team and delivering service to high-profile clients across health & beauty, tech, media and HNWI sectors.

You will plan workflow, review junior work, and handle statutory year-end accounts, VAT, and corporate tax for various entity types while offering client-facing support and

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA qualified with at least 3 years post-qualified experience
• Minimum of 6 years experience at a UK accountancy firm
• Extensive experience preparing/reviewing year-end accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 105

Responsibilities

• Planning workflow for the team
• Reviewing statutory year-end accounts prepared by juniors
• Preparing statutory year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships and consolidated accounts for groups
• Reviewing VAT returns
• Preparing corporation tax returns
• Assisting clients with day to day queries
• Ad hoc project work
