Job summary

TPF Recruitment is supporting a Weybridge accountancy practice recruiting an experienced Manager to oversee accounts preparation and tax compliance, acting as the primary client contact and driving service quality.

You will lead and mentor a team of accountants, work with partners on advisory projects, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations while developing client relationships.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification with accountancy practice experience.
• Experience in managing client portfolios and delivering tax and accounts services.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.

About the Role

In this position, you’ll take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, overseeing accounts preparation, corporation tax and personal tax compliance. You’ll act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring a high-quality service while identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Managing and reviewing accounts and tax returns for a portfolio of clients
• Supervising and mentoring a team of accountants and trainees
• Acting as the main point of contact for client queries and relationship management
• Working closely with the partners to deliver advisory projects and identify opportunities for added value
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and tax legislation

Requirements
