Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience in a secondary school setting.
• Experience teaching or supporting Key Stage 3.
• Experience working with pupils who have SEN or additional learning needs.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to teach across a range of subjects.
• Patient, nurturing approach to supporting young people.
• Adapt lessons to meet individual pupil needs.
• Flexible, reliable and professional approach.
• DBS check (enhanced) or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Teach and support a Year 8 cohort across multiple subjects.
