Job summary

SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting a Year 7 Teaching Assistant for a specialist secondary school in Hackney, to support a class of 14 pupils and help them access learning, build confidence, and develop communication skills during the school day.

You will work with the class teacher and SEND team to promote positive behaviour, manage routines, and support students with learning as well as emotional regulation across lessons. DBS and right-to-work checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people is preferred.
• SEND experience is desirable but not essential.
• Patient, proactive and resilient.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
