Job summary

SANDA Teaching Agency in Hackney is recruiting a Year 7 Teaching Assistant to support a specialist secondary school. You will help a class of 14 pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop communication skills throughout the school day.

Working with the SEND team, you will promote positive behaviour, support emotional regulation, and collaborate with the class teacher to create an inclusive, safe learning environment. DBS and right-to-work checks will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people preferred.
• SEND experience desirable but not essential.
• Patient, proactive, and resilient.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
