Job summary

SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teaching Assistant for a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Enfield, North London, starting after October half term. You'll support Year 6 pupils in their final year, helping them achieve their potential.

Ideal candidates will have prior primary TA experience, comfort with learners needing additional support, and a patient, proactive approach. Full-time hours Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school.
• Confident supporting pupils with additional learning needs and behavioural challenges.
• Patient, proactive and enthusiastic with a genuine passion for helping children succeed.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individual Year 6 pupils with their learning, development and behaviour.
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support to help pupils engage with their learning.
• Assisting the class teacher with daily lessons and classroom activities.
• Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.
• Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence and positive learning habits.
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time. 8:30am - 4:00pm.
• Start date: After October half term.
