Tradewind Recruitment LTD are working with a welcoming primary school in Kettering to appoint a motivated Year 6 Teacher on a long-term basis, starting ASAP or January 2027.

The role focuses on upper KS2, delivering high-quality teaching, supporting pupils through SATs preparation and ensuring a confident transition to secondary education, with the potential for a permanent post for the right candidate.

Formación

• Experience teaching Year 6 and preparing pupils for SATs.
• Strong KS2 knowledge and ability to differentiate lessons.
• Ability to prepare pupils for transition to secondary education.

Responsabilidades

• Planning and delivering creative, engaging and differentiated lessons across the Year 6 curriculum.
• Preparing pupils for their KS2 SATs, identifying areas for development and building confidence in their abilities.
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress to ensure all children are making good academic progress.
• Creating a positive classroom environment that encourages independence, resilience and a love of learning.
• Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and promoting positive learning attitudes.
• Providing appropriate support and challenge to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
• Supporting pupils' social and emotional development during an important stage of their education.
• Working closely with colleagues, teaching assistants and senior leaders to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
• Helping pupils develop the confidence and skills needed for a successful transition to secondary school.
