Reed Education, partner to a welcoming primary school in Normanton, West Yorkshire, is seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher for a full-time, long-term post starting September 2026. The role focuses on guiding pupils through the final year, delivering high-quality lessons and preparing them for SATs and secondary transition.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Recent KS2 teaching experience is required.

The Role

As the successful Year 6 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in guiding pupils through the final year of primary education.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Previous Year 6 teaching experience (desirable but not essential)

• Excellent classroom management skills
• A positive, resilient and proactive approach
