Job summary

Academics are assisting a gorgeous, welcoming 1-form entry Primary School in Thurrock to recruit an experienced Year 6 Teacher for Autumn Term 2. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, teaching a Year 6 class with planning and marking responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong Year 6 experience, be confident delivering the KS2 curriculum, have excellent classroom management, and be organised, enthusiastic, and reliable to provide stability while the lead teacher is absent.

Experienced Year 6 Teacher - Thurrock

I'm currently working with a gorgeous, welcoming 1-form entry Primary School in Thurrock who are looking for an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team for Autumn Term 2.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident teacher who can step into the classroom and provide stability, consistency and an engaging learning environment for the pupils while their usual teacher is absent.

The role:

• Full-time, Monday-Friday
• Year 6 class
• Starting after October half term
• Initially until Christmas, with the possibility of extension
• Planning and marking responsibilities
• Supportive and friendly school environment
• A lovely 1-form entry setting with a strong sense of community

The ideal teacher will:
