Job summary

The Graduate Network is seeking a Year 6 Graduate Teaching Assistant to support KS2 pupils preparing for SATs. You’ll deliver 1:1 and small-group tuition, reinforce classroom learning, and help pupils build confidence ahead of their final primary assessments.

Based in Wolverhampton, the role runs from September 2026 to July 2027 with a daily rate of £90-£110. Ideal for graduates aiming for teacher training or educational psychology, offering hands-on experience in a well-run school.

Qualifications

• Degree with 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS required or willingness to obtain one.
• Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support KS2 Year 6 pupils as they prepare for SATs in reading, grammar, punctuation, spelling and Maths.
• Deliver 1:1 and small-group tuition and reinforce classwork.
• Help pupils build confidence and support revision through targeted intervention.
• Assist in closing attainment gaps ahead of KS2 tests in May 2026.
