Academics is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in the Staffordshire Moorlands for a dedicated Year 6 maternity cover teacher starting February 2027. The role focuses on delivering engaging Year 6 lessons and preparing pupils for SATs, while maintaining a positive, supportive learning environment.

The school seeks a candidate with QTS and recent UK primary experience, who can contribute to a collaborative team and uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Formación

• Hold QTS and be eligible to teach in a UK primary school.
• Have recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Experience teaching Year 6 or strong understanding of upper KS2 and the primary curriculum.
• Be confident in preparing pupils for SATs and supporting their progress.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 6 lessons across the curriculum.
• Support pupils in preparation for SATs and monitor progress.
• Adapt teaching to meet individual needs and maintain high expectations of behaviour.
• Create a positive classroom environment and promote pupil wellbeing.
