Job summary

Vision For Education Ltd. is seeking a passionate Year 6 Teacher to join a friendly primary school in Newmarket on a full-time basis.

You will lead a Year 6 class, plan engaging lessons across upper KS2, assess progress and prepare pupils for SATs, while building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues in a supportive school community. Starting in November 2026, this long-term role offers a consistent five-day week, ongoing CPD, and a dedicated consultant to assist your next

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) in the UK is required.
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• Experience with Year 6 or upper KS2 preferred.
• Ability to plan engaging, challenging lessons across KS2.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 6 lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and report outcomes.
• Identify gaps and provide targeted interventions for learners.
• Support pupils preparing for Year 6 SATs and transition to secondary.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, staff and parents.
