Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher for a long-term, full-time role in a supportive Brockworth primary school. You will deliver KS2 lessons, prepare pupils for SATs and drive strong attainment across the year group.

QTS and previous UK school experience are essential. You will work with a collaborative team, including TAs, in a calm, inclusive classroom that values pupil wellbeing and progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Previous UK school experience is essential.
• Experience teaching Year 6 and preparing pupils for KS2 SATs.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
• Proven ability to close gaps in attainment and achieve strong pupil progress.
• Experience working as a Primary Teacher or Class Teacher within a Primary School.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for teaching a Year 6 class, delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Prepare pupils for their KS2 SATs, supporting attainment and closing gaps in learning.
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
• Establish positive, productive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
• Work collaboratively with the supportive school team, including Teaching Assistants (TAs), to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain a calm, consistent and positive classroom environment, helping pupils develop confidence and achieve their potential.
